On Friday we left Mödling at 7.20 am for our last stage. After exhausting asphalt kilometres, we arrived at Ballhausplatz in the greatest heat.
Two grannies against the right were there with a banner for the reception of people seeking protection. After a few moments, so did the police. The big UmbrellaMarch wasmoved to the neighbouring Heldinnenplatz. There, later on, the field was set up with silence and music in solidarity, many important speeches, everyone moved towards Yppenplatz for the final rally and the programme of Weekend for Moria Vienna.
Many heartfelt thanks to all fellow walkersand supporters! A big bow to all those who do indescribably important work on the ground, from which people draw courage and hope! Doro Blancke and her team were often mentioned. The solidarity movement will become much broader. The networking between different social classes and approaches FOR a humane asylum policy will succeed. There are many of us who want this!
