Our volunteers on Lesbos - Julius and Moritz

Where would we be without our volunteers ♥️
As I already reported when we left, this time there were Julius and Moritz with us to the island.
The two of them decided to volunteer here for 2 months for people seeking protection.
They are there where they are needed: whether in the warehouse, in the kitchen, or for work that brings order to existing structures.

They pack orders that we pass on to them for the camp, help pack food, clean the ISO boxes in which the food is transported, and much more.
We would like to thank them from the bottom of our hearts, because we know that the work here is not easy. Contrary to what many people imagine, it is a real job.
Work starts at 9 to 5. You have to be flexible and accept that things often turn out differently than you think and that some things you are looking forward to don't work out.

We are happy and grateful that they have interrupted their daily routine, that they give their time to people seeking protection and that they bring joy to us and others with their kindness and cordiality.
Thank you ♥️
